Keep your current task in the corner of each screen. Install the app on each computer you want to connect.
Choose Apple silicon for M-series Macs. Quit the old app before updating. On Mac, open the DMG and drag DFD-WORKINON into Applications. If updating, quit the old What Am I Doing or DFD-IWAS app and use DFD-WORKINON from now on.
Setup and release notes
Sign in above, choose Connect computer or bot, and create a token for each computer. In the desktop app’s Settings, choose Hosted account and paste its token. Use the same account for all computers.
DFD-WORKINON is the new name for What Am I Doing. Your account and computer connections carry over. Click a saved RustDesk number to open a connection; use Edit to change the number. Remove unwanted workspaces with ×. Use Remove computer for an old or duplicate computer; restore it from Removed computers in the web console. Version 0.5.6 repairs Mac installer signatures. It flashes GET TO WORK when no task or platform comment is set. It automatically lists software-platform names and their comments in Right Now. It includes a How to guide with instructions for all the tools. It also expands every platform card when leaving micro view. It also adds collapsible platform cards showing the software name and start date/time. Expand a card to see its license user, comment, and edit controls. Version 0.5.0 added a software-platform picker, license user, comment, and date/time applied. Computer name and RustDesk number are now under Computer details at the bottom of the note editor. Earlier improvements include duplicate-computer warnings, a last-sync indicator, and History / Undo for the last 100 task versions per computer. Windows automatically checks and downloads updates, then offers Install and restart. Mac checks for updates and offers its installer. Install this release once to enable future update checks. The desktop title links to this website. Install and saved-data folders now use DFD-WORKINON; existing tasks and connections migrate automatically. You can clear one computer’s tasks or clear all computers, with confirmation. Computer connections, chat, and files are kept.
Mac builds use a local signature and are not Apple-notarized. After dragging the app into Applications, open it. If macOS blocks an unidentified developer, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Versions 0.5.4 and 0.5.5 had a broken Mac signature; download 0.5.6 instead. Dock minimization remains unverified. Linux users can use the web console.
